OUSYRA is a work created during a 5 week residency across three islands: Syros, Corsica and Sardinia.

In collaboration with Cherimus, Archipelago Network & Providenza, the project explores a sonic narrative that represents past, present and future with each segment dedicated to one of the islands.

Workshops were held on each island, incorporating voices of participants and amplifying their stories using words, sounds and tonalities as instruments.
In between, my personal relationship with each location shapes the musical journey expressing feelings of confusion, anxiety linked to the Israel attacks in Lebanon in September/October 2024 during the time of the residency.
